After my father passed away in December of 2021, I reevaluated my life and knew I wanted to spend more time with my family. I 'revamped' my entire LinkedIn page and started targeting remote roles with companies outside my industry, especially in Tech. I received a 20% increase in pay, in a new industry, in a fully remote position. My family and I moved from Michigan (where I lived nearly 41 years) to Florida in October of 2022.
